A Common Parent Challenge:
I contacted you a couple of weeks ago regarding care for my 2 children. I decided to choose price over quality, and it came back to bite me. (Ha ha) I've had nothing but problems with your local competitor, and am ready to rip my children from their facility.
I have had my son in The Goddard School since he was 11 months old. From the moment we walked in the doors and met some of the staff we knew this was the place for us. The staff has been incredible and is so very loving with my child. They call us when he gets boo boos even when everything is alright. Everyone in the school knows my son by name and he has learned so much by being in this school. We receive reports on a daily basis that explain what happened throughout the day and we also have conferences with the teachers to discuss my child's development. We have never had any issues with the staff or the school at all. They have always had an open door policy for us with any questions we have had or any concerns. They make this a family friendly environment where the entire family feels welcomed! I love The Goddard School and wouldn't have my child anywhere else. Thanks for everything you guys continue to do for Adan!
If you want a safe and healthy environment where your child can flourish, check out Goddard at Prominence Point in Canton. Our two boys (ages 4 and 2) have learned so much while being there, and we have the entire staff to thank. My oldest son, who was thought to have possible brain damage after experiencing a grand mal seizure, is in the Private Pre-K class, and after just 6 months of being in the class, he was speaking Spanish to his toys (he was 3). His verbal, behavioral, and cognitive skills improved immensely. We love the daily sheets both boys get explaining what activities they did, how much they ate, their naps, and that extra special note about their day all help to reassure us that we picked a wonderful school. Our youngest is potty-trained already thanks to all of his wonderful teachers and their devotion to watch him succeed. I have seen very low turnover and, more importantly, I have experienced driven, hard working, and self motivated teachers and staff. We continue to be impressed with the school, the activities, and the family involvement opportunities that are offered at the school. It truly is a great school and we highly recommend it. ~ Rebecca

The Goddard School has been nothing but a positive experience for our family. The entire staff goes out of their way on a daily basis to make sure that all the children are in a caring, loving environment and my girls have absolutely thrived! When we drop them off, we know they will be well taken care of...with no doubts! My husband and I also love that any time we have a request (big or small), that Tom, Ms. Enviers and the individual teachers are there and ready to do what they can to assist. Since the day we enrolled our girls, we've known that we made the right decision. The Goddard School - specifically 310 Prominence Point Parkway in Canton, GA - has been the best choice we could have made for our girls!
Tom and Jennifer, Your Afterschool has been wonderful. I know it was rough in the beginning with homework, but your team turned it around. He has given books to my kids that he doesn't read anymore (all appropriate), which was above and beyond and made my kids very happy. He is always smiling and friendly and I can tell he really enjoys being there. ~ Carla
Our child has been there since it opened. We have only positive things to say about The Goddard School in Canton. The owner is very professional and has excellent customer service skills, which echo throughout the staff. We are greeted each morning with happy smiles and a nice clean environment. The Goddard School is no ordinary daycare; it is a place of learning. We look forward each day to find out what our daughter has learned. They also provide a nice environment for the children’s physical activities. I know we’re not the only ones that share this view. Once again, Summer Camp 2011 was a success! Our daughter really enjoyed attending this summer. She had a blast on all of the field trips! Our daughter enjoyed her full time enrollment prior to starting kindergarten and always looks forward to coming back for summer camp and this year even brought a friend. Our child care needs for her are quickly becoming a thing of the past, however if and when the need arises, The Goddard School, Prominence Point is always our 1st choice. We appreciate the time, care, and dedication ALL of the teachers and administration have offered throughout our enrollment. We have had two children go through this school and I can't say enough good things about the facility and the staff. We started my oldest there when they opened and felt comfortable enough with the school to enroll my second daughter when she was just an infant. Ms. Jennifer went from being my oldest daughters teacher to operating the daycare and she is always available to assist the parents or help care for the kids. We are moving out of town and they have been incredibly helpful and understanding with childcare as we organize our move. They also do parents night out, as well as an awesome summer camp that is one of the most affordable things around, especially considering how many activities they have planned for the kids each week. I am very sorry to lose such a trusted resource and wonderful staff for the care of my kids when we move. Tom the owner is dedicated to maintaining a wonderful atmosphere for the kids. I would highly recommend Goddard to anyone with young kids. ~ The Raymonds
I would like to start by saying "thank you" for the care that you have provided for Belle over the last several years. She loves going to school and will often rush me in the morning to get there. Thank you for all that you have done to prepare her for the big kids' school. You guys have been able to teach Belle things that I simply cannot.
Thanks to the team for the great experience Ethan has enjoyed over the past years as well as the ability to leave him in your competent hands, making his family worry free, knowing he is well cared for and growing in his social skills as well as academically. We didn't have to put Ethan in any school or day care. He had someone at home to watch him. Since transferring to your private preschool, my husband and I both see the change with our son. The nurturing and education provided at your school is inspiring. I love how the teachers smile when I come in and take the time to answer all of my personal questions. ~ JC
My child attends this school, and every morning she says, "Yay, Goddard!" as we pull into the school. She loves to go to school and learn because her teachers make learning fun. This school is wonderfully staffed with the most positive teachers! They are well educated, kind and fun. The staff, management and owner are fabulous! I would definitely recommend this school to a friend.
First let me say that I am very excited to have my youngest at Goddard. It has been more than what we expected. As you know from our initial meeting, Tyler was having a tough time at the daycare he was at previously, he wouldn't talk and didn't want to interact with the other children. Since being at Goddard he is not only talking but now we can't get him to stop talking. He has made good friends at school and really enjoys going. Our friends have noticed such a difference in Tyler over the past six weeks or so. We just wanted to say thank you. I really enjoy all the teachers that Tyler is in contact with and the friendly environment he is in. We know he is in the right place and in such great hands. ~ David and Monica

My husband and I went to a "meet and greet" night at another Goddard School opening around the corner from his office. It is beautiful new building, but their teachers can't possibly compare to the teachers that Will and Jayden have at your School. We will continue to drive an hour each day to bring them here. We left convinced that we will stay in Canton, and more appreciative of your teachers. Goddard has an excellent program and environment. The bottom line is that the teachers have an impact that is priceless. ~ Leah

I just wanted to take a minute and say thank you for taking such good care of him. He really enjoyed his time there and loved all the staff members that worked with him.
I also wanted to say that I appreciated the fact that one of the teachers questioned my identity and took the time to verify that I really was Mason's mom. That speaks well of your staff and the training that you have given them. These days one can never be too safe or careful.

I just want to say thank you for everything over the last year. Our goal for his Pre-K year was to give him the very best opportunity to be ready for Kindergarten. Not only is he (really!) ready to start Kindergarten in August, but he has blossomed into a much more comfortable, social person. The Goddard School has exceeded all our expectations by miles, and will always be a fond memory for us. James has grown and changed so much since he started that I have no doubt it has much to do with the creative, structured, fun loving environment you have there. Mr. Tom, your entire staff has been a pleasure, and your school will always be highly recommended by us. I have two children enrolled at the Goddard School, and I couldn't be happier with the care and education they are receiving. I leave them every day knowing that they are surrounded by friends they enjoy and teachers that love them. My daughter will be going to kindergarten already reading and with a huge head start over her peers, thanks to the efforts of Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Adele and Ms. Rebekah, and my son is fully (and quite painlessly!) potty trained at only 2 1/2 thanks to the reinforcement and consistency of Ms. Kristy, Ms. Cyndee and Ms. Lisa, just to name a few. We have attended several daycare/preparatory schools in the area, and have seen the range of care that exists. Without a doubt, would recommend The Goddard School above any others. Thank you for hearing my comments about Abby. We have made a lot of progress with potty training and I believe that has a lot to do with constant reinforcement of the “potty idea” at school and home. At home, we have gone several diaper free / accident free days, so I hope with spring comes a diaper-less child!

My name is Amy and I currently have a child enrolled at The Goddard School. I have worked at many child care centers and have had my children enrolled at different centers. By far, The Goddard School would be number 1 on my list. My child has learned so much in the short 9 months that she has been enrolled. Not only is the center the cleanest, but the teachers are so patient, understanding and educated to meet my child's needs. The staff greets me when I enter the school, pass through the halls and as I leave. The owner and director assists me immediately with any concerns or questions I may have whether it's with tuition or curriculum. I have never experienced a more nurturing environment for my child. The Goddard School my son has learned so much. His manners are excellent. Everywhere I go, people compliment on his politeness. He is 2 years old and thanks to The Goddard School, the terrible 2s are not so terrible. They help him potty train, which is a huge help to me being a first time mom. They even have great ideas that make potty training a breeze. He knows his numbers, shapes, colors. If there is ever a problem, they management team is quick to solve or adjust to fit your standards. From the moment that I first walked into The Goddard School®, I knew that this was the place for my daughter. My fiancé was impressed by the wildlife paintings on the walls and I was impressed by the fresh and clean smell throughout the facility. Tom, Ginny and the rest of the staff are so friendly and welcoming each and everyday that it makes for a wonderful environment for any child. Our son has been attending Goddard since July 2008. We have found thus far the staff at Goddard & our son's teacher Ms. Kristy provide not only quality in day care but also in terms of reliability, safety, health, fun and a learning and growing environment. We feel confident that we are leaving him in a totally competent, reliable, safe and professional hands everyday. We tried other day cares for our son before enrolling at Goddard. I am Samiyah’s father. It’s always a pleasant moment for me when I pick up my daughter at Goddard School. The teachers show so much enthusiasm that I am always thrilled Samiyah is part of Goddard School. To be honest with you, sometimes I say to myself: “Is it true that the teachers are so polite and very enthusiastic of what they are doing”. I can also see a lot of change in my daughter's attitude such as going to bathroom by herself, the way she talks. I can also tell that the atmosphere in the class is so pleasant because every afternoon I pick up Samiyah , all the other kids want to hug her before we leave. I am really touched by that.
