Employee of the Month: Ms. Rachal
Ms. Rachal teaches in our Rainbow Fish room. She began working at The Goddard School as a student teacher from WCTC for two semesters of practicum placement. Ms. Rachal graduated with an Associate's degree in Early Childhood. She is well liked by children and parents. Ms. Rachal uses "teachable moments", expanding on the children's interests. She encourages academic learning with our preschoolers while always looking at the whole child.
Sharon Lindstrum, On-Site Owner -
Sharon and her husband, Tom, opened The Goddard School® located in Brookfield in November 2002 and are proud to have opened the first Goddard in the state of Wisconsin! Sharon has a Bachelor's degree in Special Education. Her experience includes teaching in the Wauwatosa Public Schools, two years as an Assistant Center Director and thirteen years teaching 4-K in a private preschool setting. Due to her background, she is a very ‘hands-on’ owner. Sharon and her directing team pride themselves on great customer service. In the Schools ‘rookie’ year they were recognized by Goddard Systems, Inc. with an award for demonstrating a high level of customer care. Sharon says, “My door is always open for listening to your comments, questions or concerns. Stop in anytime!”
Jeanette Keene, Administrative Director -
Jeanette Keene is the Administrative Director at The Goddard School® located in Brookfield. She has been a part of our team since we opened our doors in the fall of 2002 and is thrilled to be a part of the school’s success. Working with children of all ages has always been her passion. She has been in the childcare profession for more than seventeen years and loves every aspect of it. Jeanette has an Infant and Toddler credential and also completed The Goddard School® Directors’ Training program. Before joining The Goddard School®, Jeanette was the director at another preschool. She truly believes that Goddard is setting the standards in the childcare profession and provides the highest level of quality and education that children deserve. “I look forward to getting to know you and your child, and am confident that Goddard will provide the safe, nurturing, fun and educational environment your child deserves. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have,” adds Jeanette.
Ms. Laurie - Ms. Laurie has been teaching our preschoolers since March 2003. She has an Associate's degree and a CDA and many years of experience. Ms. Laurie's teaching philosophy encourages each child to do their best and to develop to their potential. She is also a great mentor to our other faculty members.
Marjorie Wagner, Educational Director -
Marjorie Wagner is the Educational Director at The Goddard School® located in Brookfield, Wisconsin. She has been a part of our team since we opened our doors in the fall of 2002. Marj has a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater and a Child Development Associate (CDA) degree. She has worked in the Early Childhood profession for more than twenty years and has experience in both private and corporate run childcare settings. “I am very excited to be a part of this school,” adds Marj.
Ms. Susan - Ms. Susan has been part of our faculty since October 2004. Most of that time she has been working with our Toddlers. She is very nurturing! Ms. Susan has an Associate's degree and almost twenty years of experience in the field of early childhood development.
Ms. Christy - Ms. Christy has been teaching our Get Set group since August 2009. Previously she taught at a Goddard School in another state. She has both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Early Childhood. We're glad she is a part of our teaching team!
