Brookfield, CT

Allison Dell, Owner - We’re happy to introduce Allison Dell, the on-site owner of The Goddard School located in Brookfield. Allison is proud to take part in creating an environment where teachers support the learning and nurturing young children need. Both her education and work background have well prepared her to lead The Goddard School. Allison and her husband, Ryan, have three children of their own and reside in Brookfield. She really enjoys the opportunity to meet all of the families and children in the area. “You have my commitment that my ultimate goal is to make your children's time at The Goddard School a rewarding experience,” adds Allison.

Ms. Lynn, Director - We’re proud to say that Ms. Lynn has been with The Goddard School located in Brookfield since our doors opened in 2002. She began as a preschool teacher and moved into the pre-kindergarten classroom where she taught for three years. Before beginning her career in education, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from Western Connecticut State University. Over the past several years Ms. Lynn has come to know and value all that Goddard stands for and is honored to continue carrying out Goddard’s philosophy as our school’s Director. “If there is ever anything I can help you with, please know my door is always open,” adds Lynn.

Ms. Abigail - Ms. Abigail attended Emmanuel College in Boston and earned a degree in Elementary Education. She loves working with children of all ages and is currently studying for her Connecticut teacher's certification while enjoying her day to day experiences at The Goddard School! “I'm so happy to have joined The Goddard School team,” adds Abigail.

Ms. Allyson - Ms. Allyson is very excited to be a part of our teaching team at The Goddard School. She is currently working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education at Post University. Her background includes working as a teacher at a childcare center in Newtown, and operating her own home-based childcare business for ten years prior to that. Ms. Allyson and her husband have two children and live in the Danbury area. “Each of your children are special, and I am honored to have the opportunity to work with them,” adds Allyson.

Ms. Becca - Ms. Becca currently has a Child Development Associate’s degree and is also enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program at Naugatuck Valley Community College. She had previously worked at The Goddard School and was happy to be able to return to working with children after being away from it for a few years. After her daughter was born, Ms. Becca knew that she wanted to return to education and have her daughter attend a school that she loved and trusted -- and Goddard was that place! “Me and my family are so excited to be a part of the Goddard family and look forward to growing together for years to come,” adds Becca.

Ms. Clover - Ms. Clover is currently working towards an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education at Naugatuck Valley Community College. Her passion in life is working with children and helping them achieve their full potential. Ms. Clover and her husband live in Brookfield. She has a daughter and two wonderful grandchildren. “I’m excited for the opportunity to work with the children and their families at The Goddard School,” adds Ms. Clover.

Ms. Danielle - Ms. Danielle received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications as well as additional course credits in Early Childhood Education. She has been teaching children for the past three years and finds it to be a very rewarding and fulfilling experience. Ms. Danielle is very excited to be a part of the Goddard team and for the opportunity to work with children of all ages. She currently resides in the New Milford area with her husband. “I look forward to getting to know all of the children and their families at Goddard,” adds Danielle.

Ms. Jacqui - Ms. Jacqui started working with young children at the age of seventeen. It was then that she realized she wanted to be a teacher. While attending school part-time, Ms. Jacqui continued working with children. After receiving her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, she couldn't seem to find the "right" school that she truly liked....until now! Ms. Jacqui currently lives in the New Milford area with her two cats. “I am very honored and excited to be a part of Goddard’s teaching team. Most importantly, I am looking forward to getting to know you and your children,” adds Jacqui.

Ms. Jessica A. - A love of children and a passion for teaching has made a career in the field of education the perfect choice for Ms. Jessica! Her background includes over eight years of experience teaching elementary education in Wisconsin. Ms. Jessica and her husband have two children whom she spends as much time as possible with. “I am excited for the opportunity to work with the children and families at Goddard and hope to have the chance to meet many more,” adds Jessica.

Ms. Jessica B. - Ms. Jessica is excited to be a part of the Goddard family! She earned an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Naugatuck Valley Community College and has over eight years of experience working with children. Ms. Jessica and her husband are proud pet parents to their dachshund. “Teaching is one of the most exciting jobs I’ve had. I truly love working with children,” adds Jessica.

Ms. Jessica U. - Ms. Jessica is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University. She absolutely adores children and loves teaching and helping them no matter where she is. As an older sister with three younger siblings under the age of twelve, Ms. Jessica has had a lot of hand-on experience caring for young children. Ms. Jessica has made many friendships at Goddard, and is very proud to be a part of our school. “I greatly look forward to getting to know you and your children,” adds Jessica.

Ms. Joanne - Ms. Joanne is thrilled to be a part of The Goddard School family. Her original background was in retail management, but soon discovered there is nothing in this world more rewarding than being a part of a child's growth and development. Ms. Joanne and her husband have four children. She volunteered and worked in the Brookfield schools for many years and as her children got older she became very involved in their lives and in their community. Ms. Joanne served as a Cub Scout Leader, Vice President of the PTO at Center School and from team mom to Vice President of Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading. “I am honored to be part of your child's life and am dedicated to making their time at Goddard the most rewarding experience ever,” adds Joanne.

Ms. Kristen - Ms. Kristen is very excited to be a part our school – and is happy that her daughter is now a part of the Goddard family as well. She has quickly come to realize how amazing all of our teachers are. After a career in teaching young children herself, and her most recent position as a teacher at a Montessori school, Ms. Kristen has truly fallen in love with Goddard in the time she has been with our school. “Thank you for allowing me to be such a big part of your child’s life. I am dedicated to making your child's day as bright and as full as they make mine,” adds Kristen.

Ms. Melissa - Ms. Melissa has an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She also graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies. Ms. Melissa is very excited to be a part of the teaching team at The Goddard School located in Brookfield, Connecticut. “I am happy for the opportunity to work with your children and look forward to getting to know all of our Goddard families,” adds Melissa.

Ms. Suzanne - Ms. Suzanne -Hello everyone...I'm thrilled to be a part of the team here at Goddard! I joined Goddard when they opened in 2002. I'm a native of Danbury and a graduate of the University of Arizona. I have been teaching...and learning from...young children since 1994 when I received a teaching certificate from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. I am also a mother of a wonderful son named Julian and a happy daughter named Cassandra. They certainly keep me on my toes! I'm looking forward to another year with my students and getting to know all the families at Goddard.

Ms. Wendy - Ms. Wendy earned a degree in Early Childhood Education in Ottawa, Canada, as well as a certificate in Speech, Communication and the Handicapped Child. Her background includes over seventeen years of experience working in the field of early childhood education, as well as studies and experience in the healthcare field. “I enjoy working with children and am very pleased to be a Goddard School faculty member,” adds Wendy.

Ms. Lacey - Ms. Lacey is excited to be a part of The Goddard School! She graduated from the University of Michigan and began working with preschool age children right away. Ms. Lacey believes that nothing compares to walking into a room of excited children, ready to share their imaginations with you! She is currently working towards a Master's degree in General and Special Education, birth through sixth grade. Ms. Lacey looks forward to getting to know all of our families and being a part of your lives.

Ms. Jess S. - Ms. Jess recently graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a degree in History and Social Sciences with a concentration in Elementary Education. She is certified to teach both elementary school and social studies from grade 7-12. Ms. Jess is very excited to join the teaching team at The Goddard School and looks forward to getting to know each of your children.

Ms. Heather - Ms. Heather is so excited to be a part of the Goddard family! She has been working with children since the age of twelve! Ms. Heather earned a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology-Sociology and a Master's degree in Elementary Education. Teaching is her passion! Ms. Heather is grateful for the opportunity to work with the children at our school and looks forward to getting to know everyone.

Ms.Colleen - Ms. Colleen comes to us with ten years experience. Working with children is her passion. Ms. Colleen graduated from Temple University with a Bachelors of Science in Education.  She is new to Goddard and Connecticut , and is enjoying getting to know the area as well as all of her students and their families.     

Ms. Robyn -
Ms. Robyn graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a degree in Information and Library Science, with an emphasis in Children's Services. She has been working with children of all ages for over five years and is very excited to have joined the Goddard family!

Ms. Colleen -
Ms. Colleen has worked with children since 2002 and absolutely loves it!  She earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Education from Temple University. Ms. Colleen is new to Connecticut, moving here from the Philadelphia area with her husband and has enjoyed exploring the area and meeting new people! She is excited to be here at Goddard and to get to know you and your children.

Ms. Kara Leigh -
Ms. Kara Leigh earned her Bachelor's degree in 2010 from Southeastern University. After moving back to Connecticut she had a great desire to pursue a career working with children because she knew it would be both meaningful and enjoyable. "Joining The Goddard School and getting to know your children has been nothing short of wonderful since the beginning. Each of them have such unique endearing personalities and I look forward to helping them grow and learn every day," adds Ms. Kara Leigh.
