Meet The Management - Owner - Miss Cheryl is the proud on-site owner of The Goddard School located in Brick. She brings over ten years of nursing experience and a passion for children to our School. Miss Cheryl has provided our community with excellence in childcare since the school opened in 2004. With a smile and a sticker for all, she is committed to providing the best possible preschool experience for her families. Watching her own two children (who are an infant and a preschooler)thrive in the program is her daily validation that The Goddard School is the place to be!
Director - Miss Jamie is the on-site Director at The Goddard School located in Brick. She is proud to have been involved in opening this location only five short years ago. Her 14 years of experience in the childcare industry (eight of those years in the role of Center Director) and her dedication to the field of Early Childhood Education has helped make our school what it is today. Miss Jamie recently welcomed a new baby boy into her family and is excited to watch him grow in the loving and nurturing environment of The Goddard School.
Little Lion Cubs (Infants) - Miss Marie is the Lead Teacher in our Little Lion Cubs classroom. Marie's love for the children has been evident in the four years she has worked with Goddard. She is a "natural" with children. Miss Marie is always hugging, laughing with and loving the babies. She uses her amazing attention to detail on a daily basis! Miss Marie knows our children and our families well. She's had the opportunity to teach and train new staff in all age groups throughout the years.
Miss Pat is our wonderful Teacher's Assistant in the Lion Cubs classroom. Miss Pat has many years experience working with infants and it shows! She nurtures our babies with her calm cuddling and quick responsiveness to their needs. She loves them and they most definitely love her back!!! We are happy to have her as a part of our team!
Playful Parrots (Toddlers) - Miss Heather is the Lead Teacher in our Playful Parrots room. She is very familiar with Goddard's program, because her child has attended our School for the past two years. Heather is actively working on completing her Child Development Associates (CDA) certificate and enjoys working with the toddlers immensely!
Welcome to our newest assistant Miss Aimee! Miss Aimee joins our school with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a LOVE of children. She is excited to work with the children in our Toddler group and getting to know our families. Welcome, Miss Aimee!
Happy Hippos (Get Set) - Miss Kathy B. is the Lead Teacher and messy, fun-maker in our Happy Hippos classroom. Kathy wears many hats in our school including part-time Assistant Director, Trainer and "everything girl." We are proud to have Kathy with us since we opened in 2004!!! The buzz amongst the parents is that Kathy is not in uniform unless she has a baby in her arms!
Miss Jazmin is our newest Teacher's Assistant at The Goddard School located in Brick. Miss Jazmin is full of energy, ideas and has quickly proven herself to be an outstanding teacher's assistant! Welcome, Jazmin, we are happy to have you and your adorable daughter in our School!
Growing Giraffes (Young Preschool) - Miss Marcia, our lead teacher for our Giraffes, is Goddard's newest addition to the Goddard team. We have known Marcia for a long time because her adorable son has been attending our school since he was a toddler! She's a natural with children and we are excited to have her with us!
Miss Caitlyn is the fabulous teacher's assistant to our Giraffe children. Our pre-toddlers LOVE her welcoming smile and sweet and playful nature. She has been a lovely addition to our team!
Zany Zebras (Preschool) - Miss Mary is the Lead Teacher for the children in our Zany Zebra classroom. She brings to Goddard 14 years of preschool teaching experience! Her bright and cheery personality sparkles in the classroom and the children adore her! We welcome Miss Mary and her two beautiful daughters to Goddard and look forward to a fun and exciting year in preschool!
Miss Roseanne is proving to be a tremendous asset to our School! She was a Floater last year, filling in wherever we needed her - but this year she joined our Zany Zebras classroom FULL TIME and we couldn't be happier! Miss Roseanne is currently in the process of obtaining her Child Development Associates (CDA) certificate while helping us and being a great mom to her two children!!
Miss Christine is our third Assistant in our Zany Zebras classroom. As part of our faculty for the past five years EVERYONE knows and loves her! Never without a smile, hug or a kind word, Miss Christine, is a joy to have at Goddard!
Marvelous Monkeys (Pre-Kindergarten) - Miss Rebecca is the Lead Teacher for the children in our Marvelous Monkeys classroom. Miss Rebecca lead our Pre-K class during the 2007-2008 school year and has prepared this great bunch to succeed in Kindergarten! Rebecca has her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and has just obtained her New Jersey teacher's certificate! Way to go, Rebecca! We look forward to another great year with you and the children in our Marvelous Monkeys group!
Teriffic Tigers (Kindergarten) - Miss Heather is the Lead Teacher for the children in our Terrific Tigers classroom and has worked at Goddard for four years. She has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and English. Miss Heather has done an amazing job preparing the children in our Kindergarten class for First Grade! Did you know she had the children in her class reading by December? Way to go Miss Heather! Thanks to Heather, we are anticipating another stellar year in our Kindergarten class.
Miss Nicole is the Teacher's Assistant in our Terrific Tigers room. Miss Nicole has been a part of our team for four years, working throughout the School. She's fun, energetic and always ready for a game of four corners or musical chairs with the kids in the afternoon. We love working with Miss Nicole at Goddard!
Floaters - Miss Kathy F., our long-time substitute, can be seen in all of our classrooms. Management knows that whenever she's called to substitute - no matter how short the notice - she arrives happy, ready and willing to teach wherever she is needed! All the children know, if you need a big, gigantic, extra special hug - go find Miss Kathy!!
Miss Sandy is no stranger to Goddard. Her two beautiful girls have attended our program and are now off to elementary school! Experienced in every age group and ALWAYS wearing a smile, we are thrilled to have Miss Sandy on our team!
Ready Rhinos (Pre-Kindergarten) - Miss Tracy is the Lead Teacher for the children in our Ready Rhinos class. She lead our Pre-K class during the 2007-2008 school year and has prepared this wonderful group to succeed in Kindergarten! In addition to working for three years at Goddard, she brings with her a long resume of experience and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. We are thrilled to have her on our team and anticipate another great school year!
