Meet The Management - Owner - Miss Cheryl is the proud on-site owner of The Goddard School located in Brick. She brings over ten years of nursing experience and a passion for children to our School. Miss Cheryl has provided our community with excellence in childcare since the school opened in 2004. With a smile and a sticker for all, she is committed to providing the best possible preschool experience for her families. Watching her own two children (who are a toddler and a kindergartner) thrive in the program is her daily validation that The Goddard School is the place to be!
Director - Miss Marie is the on-site director of The Goddard School located in Brick. Marie's love for the children has been evident in the five years she has worked with Goddard. She is a "natural" with children. Miss Marie is always hugging, laughing with and showing how much she loves the children. She uses her amazing attention to detail on a daily basis! Miss Marie knows our children and our families well. She's had the opportunity to teach and train new staff in all age groups throughout the years and with her dedication to the field of Early Childhood has helped make our school what it is today!
Little Lion Cubs (Infants) - Miss Sandy is our Infant Lead Teacher in our Lion Cubs classroom. She is no stranger to Goddard as her two beautiful girls have attended our program and are now off to elementary school! Sandy’s studies are in Early Childhood Education from Montclair University. Experienced in every age group and full of positive energy, we are thrilled to have Miss Sandy on our team!
Miss Pat is our wonderful teacher's assistant in the Lion Cubs classroom. Miss Pat has many years experience working with infants and it shows! She nurtures our babies with her calm cuddling and quick responsiveness to their needs. She loves them and they most definitely love her back!!! We are happy to have her as a part of our team for the past three years!
Miss Christine is our third Assistant in our Lion Cub classroom. As part of our faculty for the past seven years EVERYONE knows and loves her! Never without a smile, hug or kind word, Miss Christine, is a joy to have at Goddard!
Playful Parrots (Toddlers) - Miss Tara is our fabulous Lead Toddler Teacher! We have been lucky to have her as our main substitute during the 2010-11 school year and now are even luckier that she’s here to stay! A new mom herself, Miss Tara has that special instinct coupled with a degree in Psychology and elementary education.
Miss Nicole, our Parrots Teacher’s Assistant, has been a part of our team for five years working throughout the school from infants to Kindergarten. She's fun, energetic and provides a ton of love for the children in her care. We love working with Miss Nicole at Goddard and we know you’ll love her too!
Happy Hippos (Get Set) - Miss Susan is proud to be the Lead Teacher of our Hippos. She is enjoying moving up with her “old friends” as she led the Toddler class in 2010-11. She comes to Goddard with her BA in Psychology and over 5 years teaching experience. Miss Susan is full of energy, ideas and has quickly proven herself to be an outstanding lead!
Miss Amanda is our Zebra teacher’s assistant going on her second year here at Goddard. She brings to us a super bubbly personality and 7 years of preschool experience. We are so happy to see Miss Amanda’s smiling face everyday and thank her for her love and dedication to our children!
Growing Giraffes (First Steps) - New to Goddard is the wonderful Miss Sarah! Sarah has joined our team with a wealth of experience and a degree from Stockton College. Her bright smile and welcoming personality is a joy to see everyday. You can already tell these babes have won her heart! Welcome Miss Sarah!
Miss Aimee has been a wonderful part of Goddard for the past two years! Miss Aimee joins our school with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a LOVE of children. She has had the opportunity to work with our infants to get setters! She is excited to be spending the year with our on the go pre-toddlers!!!
Zany Zebras (Preschool) - Miss Nichole is the Lead Teacher for the children in our Zany Zebra classroom. We have had the pleasure of having Nichole work for The Goddard School since February 2005. Nichole holds her BA in Psychology / Elementary Education with Special Education Certification. We are extremely excited to have her and know you love her as much as we do!
Miss Melissa joined our team over the summer of 2011. Fun, playful and a team player, Miss Melissa has been a joy to work with! She brings to Goddard her Group teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education and over 14 years experience with 3-5 year olds! Welcome Melissa!!
Teriffic Tigers (Kindergarten) - Miss Heather is the Lead Teacher for the children in our Terrific Tigers classroom and has worked at Goddard for five years. She has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and English. Miss Heather has done an amazing job preparing the children in our Kindergarten class for First Grade! Did you know she had the children in her class reading by December? Way to go Miss Heather! Thanks to Heather, we are anticipating another stellar year in our Kindergarten class.
Miss Jessica will be filling in for Miss Heather until she returns from her maternity leave in December. Miss Jess holds a BA in Psycology and Education from The University of North Florida and brings to Goddard over 3 years of teaching experience. Her compassion, dedication and winning smile have made her a wonderful addition to our school.
Floaters - Miss Heather J. is another one of our wonderful “go anywhere” teachers. She is very familiar with The Goddard School program, and her son has attended our School for the past three years. Heather is actively working on completing her Child Development Associates (CDA) certificate and enjoys working with all the children. Miss Ashley is our floating teacher's assistant extraordinaire. A level-headed natural with children,
Miss Ashley has been a delight to have in our School for the past year. She is currently seeking her degree in Elementary Education and brings prior experience in a childcare setting.
Ready Rhinos (Pre-Kindergarten) - Miss Rebecca is excited to have wonderful new group of Pre-Kindergarteners! Miss Rebecca has been teaching our Pre-K program for the past 4 years and does a great job preparing our children for Kindergarten! Rebecca has her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and holds her New Jersey teacher's certificate! You will also see Miss Rebecca in the early mornings as she assists Miss Cheryl and Miss Marie with opening responsibilities! It’s always nice to start the day with a smile from Miss Rebecca!
Miss Kathy D, our Ready Rhino Teacher’s Assistant has been a wonderful addition to our school! She had joined our school last year and quickly all the children loved her! She brings to Goddard her MA in Elementary Education, over 5 years of teaching experience and a delightful, upbeat personality!
Marvelous Monkeys (Transitional Pre-Kindergarten) Miss Nicole V. is the Lead Teacher for the children in our Marvelous Monkey class. She brings with her to The Goddard School her BA in Elementary Education from Montclair University and experience in Early Childhood Education. She has had the opportunity to get to know all the children at The Goddard School as she has been a substitute teacher for us since June. Warm, dependable and experienced, Miss Nicole is a wonderful addition to our school!
