As a former International Sales Manager for UPS, my 28 years of management/business experience lead me to purchase The Goddard School franchise in 2002. After close observation of the caring staff, coupled with the excellent reputation of the School, success was eminent. My son Wyatt is a graduate of The Goddard School and currently in the 4th grade, the education he received has really paid off as he excels as a student and inspires other children with his leadership skills. Thank you for giving me this wonderful opportunity to help your children have the absolute best preschool experience possible.

Management: Tanya F., Director -
Tanya is the director of The Goddard School located in Blue Bell (Sentry Park). She began working at Goddard by teaching the Pre-Kindergarten classroom in August, 1999 and moved into a management position in May, 2000. Tanya graduated from the University of Hartford in 1998, where she received a BA in Psychology. On a personal note, Tanya is married and has three children who graduated from The Goddard School. While her position as director allows her to advance in her career goals, it also allows Tanya to keep an active role in the classroom with both the teachers and the children. She is looking forward to working with all of your children!

Assistant Director: Janet H., CDA Certified -
Janet first embarked on her career at The Goddard School in July, 2000. Her capacity to provide caring, loving rapport with the children is based on raising three children of her own as well as the professional training received from Goddard Systems University and earning her CDA Teaching Certificate. Janet's grandsons  currently  attend The Goddard School and are  thriving. Janet feels that the most rewarding part of her job is watching the children having fun and growing in a learning environment while making new friends.

Preschool II, 3 to 4 years: Tara F., Head Teacher -
Tara is a graduate of Neumann College with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She joined The Goddard School in 2000 after working in numerous preschool settings. Tara is excited to come to work every day and make a difference in the lives of the precious children in her class. She is looking forward to working with your children.

Infant Care: Janet H., Head Teacher -

Georgene S. - As a former business owner, her vast background allows Georgene to use that experience and quickly integrate a skill set of conflict resolution, which certainly comes in handy in keeping all of the precious babies in Goddard Infant Care happy and content. With a high level of energy and love of children, Georgene feels her decision to join The Goddard School in 2004 continues to be rewarding. She is honored to take part in the precious lives your children. Mary Ann M. - Assistant Teacher since 2004, her hands-on approach accompanied with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude is an asset that is invaluable. She is active in her family life and has guided the progress of her granddaughter in all areas of learning. In her seven years of infant care, Mary Ann feels that nothing can replace the joy in her heart that caring for your children has given her.

Miss Shannon - Pre-K 2 Head Teacher
Miss Shannon is the Pre-K 2 Teacher. She has worked for The Goddard School seasonally since 2001 and became the Pre-K 2 Head Teacher in May of 2011. Miss Shannon graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood in 2006. She taught English in Cusco, Peru for a year in 2008 and since then she has become certified in English as a Second Language, Middle School English and Spanish. Miss Shannon says she is really enjoying working with your children and watching them grow into kind, intelligent and talented little people.

Miss Cory - First Steps Head Teacher
Miss Cory is the Head Teacher in the First Steps class. She joined The Goddard School  team in October of 2010. Miss Cory has enjoyed working with children for over four years, ages ranging from newborn to 12 years old. She is currently working on getting her CDA (Child Development Associate) and expects to complete her courses by the end of 2012. Miss Cory says she loves watching children grow and experience the world, and she looks forward to introducing your child to new and exciting learning experiences.

Miss Torie - Pre-Toddlers Head Teacher
Miss Torie is the Head Teacher in the Pre-Toddler class. She has worked at The Goddard School since October 2010 and started as a floater. Miss Torie became the Pre-Toddler Head Teacher in November of 2011. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Temple University and takes night classes during the week. Miss Torie says she is so excited to get to know your children and help them discover and learn fun, new things.

Miss Christine - Head Teacher Get Set Miss Christine is the Get Set Head Teacher. She joined The Goddard School in July 2011. Miss Christine has worked with children ranging in age from 1 year to 4 years old. She currently has an Associate's degree in Elementary  Education at Montgomery County Community College, and plans to earn her Child Care Certificate from there as well. Miss Christine says she enjoys working with the children here and is delighted to be teaching your child. She looks forward to helping your child succeed and grow into the person they will become in the future.
