Special Events
Our Pre-K graduation will be held on Wednesday, June 13 from 4:00-6:00 at Montgomery County Community College.  Cake and refreshments will be served after the ceremony.  We can't wait to see all of our graduates this year!!  Good luck!!

Faculty Bios

Blue Bell (202), PA

Pat Bergbauer and John Ladman, On-site owners -
Pat Bergbauer and John Ladman have been the on-site owners of The Goddard School® located on Route 202 in Blue Bell since February of 2002. Both have been part of our local community for the past twenty-three years. They are the proud parents of a college-bound son and three dogs. John is a semi-retired professor of anatomy and neurobiology - now teaching part-time at the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University Schools of Medicine. Pat was a publishing director and editor for professional healthcare/scientific associations. She patiently waited four years to own a Goddard School. Through the entire process, Pat was impressed with Goddard's emphasis on "children first," a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and Goddard's rigorous quality assurance program. Pat loves children and enjoys spending her days surrounded by their spontaneity, curiosity, and creativity.

Susan M. -
Susan M. is our excellent Director at The Goddard School® located on Route 202 in Blue Bell. Susan holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Temple University. She has more than nineteen years of experience in managing staff, curriculum and the administrative aspects of preschools. Susan was originally hired by Goddard’s corporate organization as a regional director and was responsible for evaluating and improving Goddard Schools in a specific region. For the past ten years, Susan has remained on staff at The Goddard School® located on Route 202 in Blue Bell, and our School has benefited from her leadership abilities and broad expertise. Susan is the proud mother of two children. Her son graduated in 2010 from our PreK class; her daughter graduated in 2011.

Melissa F. -
Melissa F. is the Assistant Director at The Goddard School® located on Route 202 in Blue Bell. Melissa is a graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. Before becoming Assistant Director, Melissa was the Head Teacher of our Preschool classroom. She is a proud mother of two children. Her oldest son is in elementary schools.  Her younger son is in our PreK 2 classroom.  In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading, swimming, and watching all kinds of sports (especially Flyers' hockey). Growing up, her favorite children's book was The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.

Samantha G. -
Samantha G. is the Head Teacher in our Infant Room. She received her Bachelor's degree from East Stroudsburg University in Exercise Science and her Master's degree from Ursinis College.  Growing up, Samantha's favorite book was Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.  Sam's favorite part of the day is cuddling with the little babies, especially our newest infants.

Taylor M. -
Taylor M. is an Assistant Teacher in the Infant Room. She is currently attending Montgomery County Community College seeking a degree in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite children's book has always been The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss.  Taylor's favorite part of the day is rocking the little infants to sleep.

Jackie M. -
Jackie M. is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant Room.  She is currently attending Montgomery County Community College seeking a degree in Early Childhood Education.  Her favorite children's story has always been I'll Love You Forever by Robert Munsch.  Jackie's favorite time of the day is when she gets to cuddle with the babies in the Infant Room.

Lisa D. -
Lisa is a Teacher's Aide in our Infant Room.  Lisa has two grown children and couldn't wait to work with our littlest ones. Her favorite stories to read her own children were always The Berenstein Bears collection by Jan and Stan Berenstein.  Lisa's favorite time of the day is when she gets to sit on the floor with the Infants and get them to laugh.

Sabrina S. -
Sabrina S. is the Head Teacher in the First Steps classroom. She has received her Associate's degree from Montgomery County Community College in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite children's book has always been Charlotte's Web by E.B. White.  Sabrina's favorite time of the day is circle time because she loves how all her children sit and listen to their favorite stories.

Tara S. -
Tara S. is the Assistant Teacher in our First Steps classroom.  Tara received her Associate's degree in Liberal Studies from Montgomery County Community College.  She is currently attending Chestnut Hill College seeking a Bachelor's degree in Education.  Her favorite children's story has always been Splat the Cat by Rob Scottson. Tara's favorite part of the day is singing with the children... they always clap at the end of every song, which is so cute.

Lesley S. -
Lesley S. is the Head Teacher for our Pre-Toddler classroom. She is a graduate of Clarion University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Her favorite story growing up has always been The Giving Tree by Dr. Seuss.  Lesley's favorite part of the day is circle time because she loves reading books to the children.

Rebecca S. -
Rebecca S. is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-Toddler classroom. Rebecca is currently attending Montgomery County Community College, seeking a degree in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite children's book has always been The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss.  Rebecca's favorite time of the day is art because she loves that the children get to express their creative side.

Elizabeth C. -
Elizabeth C. is the Head Teacher in our Toddler Room.  She is a graduate of Penn State University where she received her degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Her favorite stories are the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling.  Elizabeth's favorite time of the day is circle time because she loves how much the kids love their favorite stories.

Melissa C. -
Melissa C. is the Assistant Teacher in our Toddlers classroom. She has received her CDA through Montgomery County Community College. Melissa's favorite children's story has always been Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.  Melissa's favorite time of the day is art because she loves seeing how creative her children can be.

Marlee C. -
Marlee C. is the Head Teacher in our Get-Set classroom. She is a graduate from Potsdam State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. In her spare time, Marlee enjoys traveling, reading and spending time outdoors. Growing up, her favorite children's book was The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstien. Marlee's favorite time of the day is calendar time.  The children help sing a few songs about the days of the week, the weather and how they are doing each day.  It is a great way to start the day together.

Sarah J. -
Sarah J. is the Assistant Teacher in our Get-Set classroom. She is a graduate from Gwynedd Mercy College with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. When not at work, Sarah enjoys knitting, shopping and creating scrap books. Her favorite children's book has always been No Room For Sarah by Ann Greenleaf. Sarah's favorite time of the day is circle time. The children love to tell stories about what they did the night before or over the weekend. There is always one or two things the children say that make her laugh.

Andrea G. -
Andrea G. is an Assistant Teacher in our Get-Set Room.  Andrea received her Bachelor's degree in Music Education from West Chester University. Andrea's favorite children's story has always been Swimmy by Leo Lionnni.  Andy's favorite part of the day is music.  She loves singing and dancing with the children.

Angie W. -
Angie W. is the Head Teacher of our Preschool classroom. She is a graduate of Lock Haven University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Growing up, her favorite children's book was The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn.  Ms. Angie's favorite time of the day is art because she loves to see the creativity of her children in action.

Jackie P. -
Jackie is Co-Head Teacher in our Preschool classroom.  She is a graduate of West Chester University, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. As a child, Jackie's favorite story was always Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.  Jackie's favorite part of the day is circle time because she loves to hear all the children's stories before they start their day.

Lisa G. -
Lisa G. is the Head Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She is a graduate of Millersville University with her Bachelor's degree in Education. Her favorite children's story has been Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister.  Lisa's favorite time of the day is math because she loves being able to see the progress of her children day in and day out.

Keris Y. -
Keris Y. is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Keris is a graduate from Mid-Warwickshire College in Lemington Spa, Great Britain. Her certificate is in Home Economics for Family and Community Care. In her spare time, Keris enjoys listening to music, and traveling to England where she can visit her family and friends. Her favorite children's book has always been How I Became a Pirate by David Shannon. Keris' favorite time of the day is when the children use their imaginations to help tell stories during circle time.

Abla C. -
Abla C. is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Abla attended Sacramento City College and received her Associate’s degree in Business with a minor in Child Psychology. In her spare time, Abla enjoys reading, cooking, and needle point cross-stitch. Her favorite children's book growing up has always been The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.  Abla's favorite activity to do with the children is art because she loves to watch them all use their creativity.

Lauren B. -
Lauren B. is an Floater throughout the School. She is currently attending Gwynedd Mercy College, seeking a degree in Elementary Education. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with friends, going to the movies and reading. As a child, Lauren's favorite children's story was Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. Lauren's favorite part of the day is art time when she is able to see the children use their creativity.

Brenda S. -
Brenda S. is a Teacher's Aide throughout the School. She is currently attending Gwynedd Mercy Academy.  Her favorite children's book to read with the children is Alice the Fairy by David Shannon. Brenda's favorite part of the day is watching the children during social science when they love to role play with the kitchen or the dress up clothes.

Alyssa D. -
Alyssa D. is a Teacher's Aide throughout the School. She is currently attending Montgomery County Community College seeking a degree in Nursing. Her favorite children's story growing up has always been The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. Alyssa's favorite time of the day is circle time because she loves reading to the children.
