The Goddard School located in Bel Air will make a positive difference in your child's life. Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year-round extended-day program from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. We also offer half-day programs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday through Friday for children between the ages of two and five years old.

Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks to six years of age. Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our Daily Lesson Plans, which our faculty brings to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.

Eric and Brenda Walker are the on-site owners. They are thrilled to bring their experience and the quality of Goddard's program to families in their neighborhood. Eric and Brenda are the proud parents of two children, Brady and Blake, and so they recognize the importance of providing a consistent and strong curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment. "We believe in 'making a difference' and understand the significance of positively impacting the lives of the children in our care as well as the families in our community."

Our state-of-the-art custom-designed building provides a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Two separate playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age.

We are accepting applications for enrollment for both full- or half-day schedules. Sign Language, Spanish, B.A.S.E for Fitness, Nutrition and many other core curricular and enrichment resources are included in our lesson plans at no additional cost. We also incorporate fun and exciting programs such as Yoga to improve focus, balance and creativity.

The Goddard School located in Bel Air is licensed by The State of Maryland Board of Education and also the Maryland Office of Childcare. All of our Lead Teachers hold either a bachelor's, master's or an associate's degree along with their 90-hour certificate in early childhood. We also participate in ongoing educational training courses required by the Department of Education. This ensures that our teachers are informed about the newest developmental and educational theories, programs and trends.
