Owners: Brenda & Eric Walker - We are the on-site owners and are very excited to be a part of The Goddard School® family! Brenda has a degree in Sociology and is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality academic, social and emotional care for your children.
Eric has a degree in Health and Physical Education as well as experience as a teacher and director in early childhood education. We both enjoy being with children and are proud parents who recognize the importance of presenting a consistent and robust curriculum, in a safe and nurturing environment!
Educational Director: Robin Larrimore I am the Educational Director here at The Goddard School located in Bel Air! I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Family Studies. I have previously taught at Head Start, Goddard and worked at a non-profit agency as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant. My goal for the children is to make sure they are happy and confident learners when they leave us to enter kindergarten! Each child's success is very important to me, and my goal is to make sure they receive the best experience possible!
Baby Bears: Ms. Ellen - I am a Teacher in the Baby Bears room. I love children and have many of my own, including two grandchildren (who also attend Goddard). I am excited to love, hug and teach your babies. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity. I hope to meet you soon.
Leaping Leopards: Kim K. - Kim is happy to work at The Goddard School located in Bel Air! She loves children and has a lot of experience working with different age groups. Kim attended Towson University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She recently graduated from Loyola and earned a Master's degree in Reading. Kim taught in Baltimore County for four years, working with children from Kindergarten through Second Grade. She was also a Nanny for a year and a half. Kim has worked at Goddard for a long time and looks forward to teaching your children. She is a fan of Disney and looks forward to sharing activities and fun lesson plans with your children!
Elegant Elephants: Diana C. - I am married and have triplets who attend college. I have lived in the area for 20 years. I received my 90-Hour certificate from Harford Community College. I joined the faculty when the School opened in 2004. I am happy to work at The Goddard School® located in Bel Air!
Elegant Elephants: Ms. Jeanne S. - Ms. Jeanne has a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University. After working at Blue Cross & Blue Shield and Procter & Gamble, she was a stay-at-home mom for her twin boys. Jeanne has been a resident of Harford County her entire life. Ms. Jeanne enjoys helping children learn through play at Goddard!
Jolly Giraffes: Kawaii W. - Kawaii has worked in professional childcare settings since 2001. She also interned at William S. James Elementary School in the Kindergarten classrooms. At Goddard, Kawaii would like to provide your children with as many opportunities as she can to learn though play. She believes "hands-on" learning is the best method to teach. Kawaii can't wait to get to know all of the smiling faces at Goddard.
Terrific Tigers: Ms. Rebecca S. - Ms. Rebecca has three wonderful children. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson University. Rebecca previously worked at a special education school as a Teacher Assistant. Working at The Goddard School located in Bel Air continues to be a great and rewarding experience!
Terrific Tigers - Ms. Sarah M. -
I graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies- Services to Children, with a minor in Psychology. During my time at Towson, I interned at The Ark in Baltimore City, which is a short-term, emergency preschool for families that are homeless or in the early stages of addiction recovery. I have also taught a preschool class at the Towson YMCA and have been employed with The Open Door childcare program since 2001. I'm very passionate about making a difference in the lives of all of the children I teach at The Goddard School!
Leaping Leopards: Jacki S. - I am happy to work at The Goddard School® located in Bel Air. I have spent a large portion of my life with children, both in a work setting as well as raising my own. I have a background in Special Education and I love a challenge. I have worked at this School since we opened the front doors!
Lively Lions Room: Ms. Penny - Ms. Penny has taught preschool for eight years. Prior to Goddard, she taught at a private preschool. Penny continues to study Early Childhood Education by attending courses at Harford Community College. She loves being a wife and mom, spending time in her garden and collecting baskets. Of course, one of her favorite things to do is teach. Penny is very happy to have the opportunity to teach with the team at Goddard. She looks forward to providing a loving and caring environment for your children!
Lively Lions Room: Ms. Christine - Ms. Christine is happy to return to Goddard after being home for three years with her children. She is a proud mom of two great kids! Christine's daughter, a Goddard alumni, is in Third Grade. Her son currently attends Goddard. She has worked with children for 18 years! Christine will provide a safe and fun environment including hands-on learning centers as well as exploring and experiments. She hopes to make every learning experience for each child one they will always remember!
Work Study Program: Shellie W. - I attend Harford Community College, earning my degree in Early Childhood Education. I enjoy working with children and watching them grow and learn. I love The Goddard School located in Bel Air and have worked here for many years.
Work Study Program: Ms. Sarah B. - I am attending Towson University! I enjoy meeting and playing with each of the children and am gaining great experience at Goddard. My goal is to become a Pediatric Assistant!
Baby Bears: Ms. Lauren - I am the Teacher in the Baby Bears room! I have my 90-hour childcare certification from Bel Air and I also graduated from the University of Maryland earning a Bachelor of Science degree. After college, I joined the Peace Corps and taught at a primary school in the South Pacific. I love spending time with children and am thrilled to be a part of the team at The Goddard School located in Bel Air!
