Faculty Bios

Bedford, MA

Ms. Megan, Director - I graduated from Colby-Sawyer College with a Degree in Early Childhood Education. After school, I realized I have always had a strong interest in young children and wanted to enrich their lives through education. I took a position at an Early Childhood Enrichment Center where I worked in a variety of positions (Infant/Toddler/Pre-School teacher and then became the Director). When the center closed, I decided that I wanted a career change and went to work at an Early Intervention Center working with young children who had special needs. I was there for six years and truly enjoyed it. When the opportunity arose for me to join the team here at The Goddard School I felt with my experience and passion and their accredited curriculum that it would be a perfect match. We have a solid management team and amazing teaching professionals. I am excited to come to work each day to watch the families and staff grow into one big family.

Ms. Stephanie, Assistant Director - Ms. Stephanie has worked with children for over 15 years in many capacities. She has a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is licensed by EEC with credentials as an Infant/Toddler Teacher and Preschool Teacher.  She also has director credentials. She is the mother of two boys who remind her each day how important her job as an educator is. She is pleased to be part of the management team here at the Goddard School.

Ms. Nicole - Ms. Nicole has worked in the early childhood field since 2001 and has enjoyed every aspect of it.  She has an associate’s degree from Middlesex Community College and she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Child Development.  She enjoys nurturing the children and to working alongside her team-oriented colleagues. Since joining the team of teaching professionals here at The Goddard School, she has learned the importance of giving children unconditional love and affection on a daily basis.

Ms. Cristin - Ms. Cristin graduated from Bay State College with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She knew that teaching young children was her calling because the excitement and energy that children bring to the classroom makes every day new and fun!  She enjoys working with young children because she can be instrumental in assisting them in developing a love for learning.  Since joining the team of teaching professionals here at The Goddard School® located in Bedford, MA, she has learned the importance of meeting the individual needs of the children in her care and the realizing that each child is different in so many ways.

Ms. Theresa - Ms. Theresa is currently a student at Middlesex Community College finishing her degree in early childhood education.  She loves children and watching them grow as they learn together. Since joining the team of teaching professionals here at The Goddard School located in Bedford, MA, she has learned the importance of collaborating with her co-workers to find new and exciting ways to deliver the curriculum to the children.

Ms. Danielle - Ms. Danielle is currently pursuing a degree in early childhood education and is licensed by the EEC. She has worked with children for as long as she can remember and has always loved bonding with the children in her care.Since joining the team of teaching professionals here at The Goddard School located in Bedford, MA, she has learned the importance of relationships with the parents in her role as a caregiver to their most precious gifts.

Ms. Sandy - Ms. Sandy graduated from The University of New Hampshire with a degree in education. She is the mother of two boys. She enjoys sharing her love and knowledge of animals and farm life with the community. Her approach to both teaching and learning is all about incorporating fun in whatever they do. Since joining the team of teaching professionals here at The Goddard School® located in Bedford, MA, she has learned the importance of working in partnership with a team to create an atmosphere that supports the children and parents in reaching their desired goals.

Ms. Julie - Ms. Julie has worked in the early childhood field since 1999.  She has worked with all age groups, but infants and toddlers are her favorites.  She is currently attending Middlesex Community College to obtain a degree in early childhood education.  She is excited to be part of the family at The Goddard School located in Bedford.

Ms. Elizabeth - Ms. Elizabeth graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in child development and family relations.  She is very excited to use her degree at The Goddard School. Since joining the team of teaching professionals here at The Goddard School, she has learned the importance of developing a classroom management plan that is individualized enough to suit the needs of each child.

Ms. Lisa - Ms. Lisa has worked with children of all ages since 1988.  She is licensed by the EEC to work with infants, toddlers and preschool children.  Since joining the teaching professionals here at The Goddard School she has learned the importance of working as a team alongside her fellow educators.  She has also learned that when teachers incorporate creative play into the children's daily activities there are endless teachable moments within the classroom.

Ms. Maggie - Ms. Maggie has been teaching children of all ages since 2006 and soon realized that teaching is her true passion.  She is a student at Middlesex College pursuing a degree in early childhood education and is currently licensed by the EEC of Massachusetts. Since joining the team of teaching professionals at The Goddard School located in Bedford, she has learned the importance of teamwork and how it takes effort from everyone to make the day go smoothly.

Ms. Melanie - Ms. Melanie has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Middlesex Community College. She has worked with children since 1998. The children bring joy and excitement to her life and she likes providing them with opportunities to learn and grow through all of their senses. Since joining the team of teaching professionals at The Goddard School located in Bedford, she has learned the importance of building relationships with the parents and catering to the individual needs of the children each day.

Ms. Michelle - Ms. Michelle has been working with children for the past four years. She is currently pursuing a degree at Dean College. She enjoys coming to work each day surrounded by good people who share her same the interest in and love for the children.  Since joining the team of teaching professionals at The Goddard School located in Bedford, she has learned the importance of nurturing the children. She has also realized that every child is unique in his or her own way and they must be treated as such.

Ms. Amy - Ms. Amy went to Cambridge College and received a bachelor of science degree and a graduate degree in early education with a concentration in special education. She has worked with children of all ages since 2005. After college, she worked as an Instructional Assistant with children on the autism spectrum. Since joining the team of teaching professionals here at The Goddard School® located in Bedford, MA, she has learned the importance of incorporating the outside world into the classroom community.

Ms. Andrea - Ms. Andrea has been working with children for over 10 years. She is licensed through the EEC in MA and has taken many courses in special education at Middlesex Community College. Since joining the team of teaching professionals at The Goddard Schoollocated in Bedford, MA, she has learned the importance of creating a classroom where all the children have their own voices and are free to express themselves through their own choices.

Ms. Sam - Ms. Sam is currently a senior at Bedford High School. Upon graduation she hopes to pursue a degree in teaching. Since joining the team of teaching professionals here at The Goddard School located in Bedford, MA, she has learned the importance of caring for each child and fulfilling their needs.

Ms. Hailey - Ms. Hailey is currently a senior at Billerica Memorial High School. Once she graduate she plan to go to college to further her education and become a full-time teacher.  She has always enjoyed working with children. Since joining the team of teaching professionals here at The Goddard School located in Bedford, MA, she has learned the importance of child development. Each child is unique and all have unique needs.
