The Goddard School® located in Bear is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, year round. We offer both full and part-time programs for children between the ages of six weeks to six years. Our after-school enrichment and summer ‘camp’ programs are available for children up to ten years of age.

As owners of The Goddard School® located in Bear, we are committed to providing our students with a positive learning experience. We strive to maintain a “home away from home” environment to that encourages children’s natural curiosity to learn. Through exploring special learning centers for art, math, science, music and computers, children are prepared to meet academic challenges in elementary school.

The curriculum at The Goddard School® was designed using the philosophies of Piaget and Erikson, as well as NAEYC’s Guidelines for Developmentally Appropriate Practices - and are taught at each child’s level. Whether it is language or creative art, science or math, music or computers, the teachers in each class are empowered to plan the activities based on the children’s ability to learn. By crafting interesting lesson plans, our teachers are able to capture the attention of the youngest of students, paving the way to a lifelong love of learning.

Our state-of-the-art building was custom designed to provide bright, spacious classrooms and are equipped with age appropriate equipment. Two age specific playground areas allow children to develop their muscles and gross and fine motor control skills.
