Welcome to The Goddard School® located in Baltimore (White Marsh)! We are situated in the White Marsh business community, just off Honeygo near the White Marsh Mall. Simply turn on to Mercantile Road (by the Exxon), and at the bottom of the hill, next to the post office, you will find our beautiful School.

The Goddard School can make a positive difference in your child's life. Our warm, loving atmosphere features year round half- and full-day programs ranging from two to five days. Our half-day program runs from 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM, and our full-day programs are 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM and are certified by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). What does this mean? For starters, every room in our School has at least one teacher with a degree. Goddard also offers a nationally recognized educational program to help your son or daughter reach his or her potential.

Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks through Pre-K. Our degreed teachers and faculty create a loving, nurturing atmosphere while incorporating fun and exciting learning experiences. Daily lesson plans are designed to meet the needs of the 'whole' child, which our faculty brings to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their own individual needs and abilities.

Our state-of-the-art custom-designed building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Two separate playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age. We have also added a basketball court, an outdoor pavilion and an indoor gym to further meet the fitness needs of every child, every day.

School owners Dave and Amber O'Brien have three children of their own. Amber is a former elementary school teacher who has a master's degree in reading, and Dave has spent 22 years in the education field. As a result, the School will emphasize reading and encourage parents to join our Mystery Reader program. Parents are also encouraged to drop by any time to share a special moment with their children.
