Ms. Dana Ms. Dana is the Director at The Goddard School located in Aurora. She graduated from Aurora University with a degree in Elementary Education. She also graduated from Waubonsee Community College with a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a director’s certificate. Ms. Dana lives in Yorkville with her husband and children.
Ms. Amy
Ms. Amy is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She graduated from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio with a degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Amy has ten years teaching experience. She lives in Plano with her husband and daughter.
Ms. Nicole Ms. Nicole is a Lead Teacher in the Preschool classroom. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Nicole resides in Naperville with her family.
Ms. Janice Ms. Janice is our Lead Teacher in the Kindergarten classroom. She graduated from North Central College with a degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Janice has many years of teaching experience. She lives in Aurora with her husband.
Ms. Tina
Ms. Tina is a Lead Teacher in our infant classroom. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Ms. Tina has over ten years experience teaching children.
Ms. Joy Ms. Joy is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She has a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and has been working with children since 2005.
Ms. Kristen Ms. Kristen is a Lead Teacher in our Infant classroom. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education. She also has a reading endorsement from SIUE. Ms. Kristen is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Literacy.
Ms. Amber Ms. Amber is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-Toddler classroom. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Child and Family Studies. Ms. Amber really enjoys working with infants, toddlers and "twos."
Ms. Ebony
Ms. Ebony is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-Toddler classroom. She also assists many other classrooms in our building. Ms. Ebony has been a part of our Goddard team for many years.
Ms. Randi Ms. Randi is the Lead Teacher Get Set classroom. She graduated from College of Dupage with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Randi has been a part of the Goddard team for many years. She lives in Aurora with her husband, and they love to travel together.
Tab Shamin, School Owner -
Tab established The Goddard School located in Aurora in 2006. She received her Master's degree in Business Administration and has done extensive coursework in different philosophies of Early Childhood Education. As parents of four young children, three of whom have attended this school, she understands the desires and struggles of working parents of young children to find a childcare with high academic standards. This school is blessed to have a highly educated faculty who continuously strive to maintain superior standards of quality in the early childhood development program that we offer to our families.
Ms. Holly Ms. Holly is a teacher in our First Steps classroom. She graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois with a Bachelor's degree. Miss Holly has a wonderful background in art and teaching. She has been working with children since 2008. We are excited to have her at The Goddard School.
Ms. Tamara Miss Tamara is a teacher in our Toddler classroom. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She holds a state certificate for Elementary Education and Special Education. She also received an Associate's degree in Special Education from Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois. Ms. Tamara has two years teaching experience.
Ms. Jennifer Ms. Jennifer is a teaching assistant at our school. She helps in many classrooms throughout the building. She has taken classes at College of DuPage. She lives in Naperville with her family. Miss Jennifer brings a positive and friendly spirit to our team.
