Choosing Childcare

Welcome to The Goddard School® located at Quincy Avenue and Picadilly Road in Aurora, Colorado. The Goddard School program will make a positive difference in your child's life. Our warm and loving atmosphere, combined with Goddard's curriculum, is brought to life by our faculty. All of our teachers are full-time, professional educators with significant experience in early childhood education.

Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child. We believe preschool should be both a fun and educational experience, and that our biggest responsibility is to instill a lifelong love of learning in each child that attends our School!

Our year-round extended day program runs from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We offer flexible two, three, four and five day a week programs for either a half or full day to meet your schedule. In addition to our standard curriculum, we incorporate the following programs into each day's activities at no additional cost:
• Art History and World Cultures for Children
• Fitness (outdoor playgrounds & indoor gym)
• Karate instruction
• Yoga instruction
• Piano instruction
• Sign Language and Spanish instruction
• Nutrition
• Manners

Everything that happens during your child's day is specifically communicated to you through your child’s personalized Daily Activity Report. The Daily Activity Report details all the activities your child participates in so that you can discuss and share the day at School with your child. Your Daily Activity Report will give you a glimpse of how the curriculum is delivered. Lesson plans are written by the Lead Teacher in each classroom and are designed specifically for the children in that classroom. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.

Our state-of-the-art custom designed building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment. Two separate playgrounds totaling almost 13,000 square feet have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age. Our School also includes a 600 square foot indoor gym complete with a rock climbing wall, a rubberized safety floor, sport and fitness equipment, and a piano available for all children.

The best way to experience our school is to tour. During your visit, we will explain our curriculum and details of our School, show you the classroom your child will attend and introduce you to the teachers. We will answer all of your questions, as well as discuss scheduling and availability.
