Welcome to The Goddard School® located in Auburn, Massachusetts!
We are Matthew and Sheri Flandreau, on-site owners and parents of two girls who attended The Goddard School.
The Goddard School located in Auburn is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. year round, offering a variety of developmentally appropriate programs for children from six weeks to six-years-old. We also offer a summer program for children through seven years of age. Our summer program includes a variety of in-house field trips each week to enhance our curriculum. Children are encouraged to relax, explore the outdoors and have fun while experiencing our stimulating curriculum.
We also provide private Kindergarten for children age 4.9 years and older. Our Kindergarten is certified and taught by a Department of Education certified teacher. Our Kindergarten has full and half-day options with a low teacher to student ratio. We use the Wilson Fundations Reading program, Everyday Mathematics and adhere to all of the Massachusetts state curriculum frameworks.
Our goal is to provide a safe, loving and stimulating environment by combining our exceptional faculty and resources with Goddard's outstanding quality programs. We recognize that each child is unique and encourage expression of individuality in an environment suited to the development of self-esteem, confidence, imagination and a desire to learn! Our curriculum includes foreign language, sign language, physical fitness, yoga, handwriting and our very own manners program the Goddard Guide to Getting Along™. Our nutrition program teaches young children about the importance of healthy foods vs. occasional foods. Our snack menu consists of all natural, organic, whole grain and fresh fruits and vegetables on a daily basis.
We are committed to being "partners with parents" and will strive to create relationships based on mutual trust and respect. We work with parents to provide children a more rewarding and enjoyable preschool experience.
Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our faculty brings to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.
We are preferred partners in the NACCRA program for active duty and deployed military personnel. This program provides tuition assistance to all branches of the military. We also partner with the Coast Gaurd tuition assistance program.
The Goddard School located in Auburn is conveniently located on Route 20 less than one mile East of Routes 290, 395 and the Massachusetts Turnpike!
