Faculty Bios

Atlanta (Buckhead), GA

All Lead Teachers at The Goddard School located in Buckhead possess a four-year degree, or better. In addition to their extensive training in education, our teachers have access to Goddard University. This accredited continuing-education system allows our teachers the unique opportunity to receive top-notch education on an on-going basis. Warm and nurturing individuals with a love for preschool-aged children AND four-year degrees—it's a perfect combination!

Kellen Stennett - Owner - Kellen and his wife decided to 'Grow With Goddard' when they learned that their beautiful son, Kai, was on the way. Having a new-found appreciation for the difficult decision of choosing a care provider for a child, they dedicated themselves to providing an obvious choice for parents in the area. Kellen was born and largely raised here in Atlanta, and is determined to make an impact on the city he loves.

Lisa Stewart - Executive Director - Lisa has over 22 years of experience directing preschools in the Atlanta area. As an Atlanta native with over 8 years of experience in the Buckhead area, she is an invaluable resource for parents. Lisa has her degree in Early Childhood Education from UGA and, unfortunately, is a 'dawgs' fan. Her incredible and positive attitude is a fantastic addition to the Goddard family, and it resonates throughout the building. Lisa has two sons, both now graduated from high school, a patient husband, two playful dogs, and a love for sushi.
