SCHOOL OWNERS -
Mark Reinhart, On-site Owner
Mark is the proud owner of The Goddard School® located in Anderson Township. He lives in Anderson with his wife, Wendy, and their three sons, Eric, Brody and Vaughn. The Reinhart’s became the new owners of The Goddard School in 2010, largely influenced by their sons’ very positive experience attending the School and recognizing the importance of quality preschool care and education. Mark graduated from University of Cincinnati with degrees in Marketing and Management. Before joining the School, he worked for nearly twenty years as a management and information systems consultant for Accenture where he led major implementations for companies to improve their business operations. During his free time, Mark enjoys playing with his children and spending time with his wife. Very simply, the Reinhart’s mission for the School is to offer the absolute best in high quality childcare and education. Being an on-site owner, Mark welcomes your comments and concerns, and would like to thank you for the opportunity to share in your child’s growth and early childhood development.
ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF -
Ms. Amy, Director
Ms. Amy joined the Goddard family in 2002. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Northern Kentucky University. Ms. Amy is certified to teach pre-kindergarten through third grade. She has also taken many Goddard University courses including Professionalism, Classroom Management, and Curriculum & Lesson Planning. Ms. Amy has additional training in First Aid, CPR, Communicable Diseases and Child Abuse Recognition and Prevention.
Ms. Rebekkah, Assistant Director
Ms. Rebekkah joined the Goddard family in 2005. She studied Early Childhood Education for two years and has a degree in Sports Organization from Miami University. Ms. Rebekkah has also taken many Goddard University courses including Professionalism, What's Up With Infants & Toddlers, Quality Assurance Standards and A World for Children. She has additional training in First Aid, CPR, Communicable Diseases and Child Abuse Recognition and Prevention.
INFANTS -
Ms. Monica is the Lead Teacher in our Infant classroom. She graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelors of Arts in Education. After college she worked at another Cincinnati Goddard. Then joined Anderson Township team in August 2011. Ms. Moncia loves guiding children, especially infants to learn new skills.
Ms. Savi is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She has worked at Goddard since February of 1997; in addition she has worked with children since 1986 in daycare and preschool facilities. Through Goddard University, she has attended Curriculum and Lesson Planning courses. Ms. Savi is trained in First Aid, CPR, Communicable Diseases and Child Abuse.
Ms. Sam is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She joined the Goddard family in August of 2007. After several years as Lead Teacher, Ms. Sam has decided to focus on going back to school for Nursing at Cincinnati State. She is First Aid, CPR, Child Abuse Recognition and Communicable Disease certified. Working at Goddard gives her a new outlook on life!
Ms. Jean is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She rejoined the Goddard family in December 2011. She worked for The Goddard School located in Anderson from 2004-2006 when she took a short leave to have her son and go back to college. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and has been working with children since 1989 and loves the excitement they bring to her life!
TODDLER I - (Young Toddlers)
Ms. Melanie is the Lead Teacher in the Young Toddler room. She joined the Goddard family in August of 2003. She graduated from UC with an Associate's degree and has continued her education through Lesson Planning, Portfolios and Health & Safety classes. Ms. Melanie is First Aid, CPR, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse certified. She has worked with children for more than ten years. Ms. Melanie started by teaching gymnastics to toddlers through adults.
Ms. Erin is the Assistant Teacher in the Young Toddler room. She started at Goddard in December 2010 as a resource teacher and quickly realized her passion for working with toddlers. She is First Aid, CPR and Child Abuse certified. She has worked with children most of her life and is excited to learn from the children at Goddard.
TODDLER II -
Ms. Shannon is the Lead Teacher in the Toddler II room. She joined the Goddard team in 2009. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati. Ms. Shannon's soft spoken and patient demeanor has been just the perfect fit for this Toddler classroom.
GET SET -
Ms. Gabi is the Assistant Teacher in the Get Set Room. She joined the Goddard team in February 2012. She has studied Early Childhood Education and Sociology at Ohio University and Cincinnati State College. She has worked with children since 2004. Ms. Gabi loves seeing the excitement in children has they learn independence and master a new skill.
PRESCHOOL -
Ms. Wendy is the Lead Teacher in the Preschool room. She has worked with the Goddard family since August 2005. She has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Cincinnati. She has also attended Goddard University courses, such as Quality Assurance Standards, Professionalism and Excellence for Parenting. She is First Aid, CPR, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse certified. She loves spending time with her two children, who both attend Goddard.
Ms. Kacey is an Assistant Teacher in the Preschool room. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the Ohio State University. She is currently working on her Master's degree. Ms. Kacey has worked with children since 2004, including teaching summer at Gahanna Elementary. She has also worked as a Home Health Aide with special needs children. Ms. Kacey's warm energy is a perfect fit with our preschoolers. She loves seeing the process of children growing and developing as learners.
Mr. Mike is an Assistant Teacher in the Preschool classroom. In the summer months, he focuses on the school-age children. He became part of the Goddard family in October 2007. He has studied Early Childhood Education at Cincinnati State College. Mr. Mike has a great deal of experience with preschool and school-age children. He enjoys the enthusiasm children have to learn.
PRE-K
Ms. Carol is the Lead Teacher in our Pre-K room. She joined the Goddard team in February 2012. She has been working with children since 1992 and believes it is her true calling. She has a Child Development Associate certification and experience as a Pre-K Teacher and Director at another preschool in South Carolina. She loves the fun and excitement of a busy classroom. She can't wait to see all the growth that happens the year before children go off to Kindergarten!
Ms. Barbara is the Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K room. She joined the Goddard family in August 2011. She has experience in childcare since 2008 and a Child Development Associate certification. She enjoys working with children because it allows her to explore her own ideas and imagination. She looks forward to promoting fun learning experiences at school, as well as supporting parents in creating fun educational moments at home.
Kindergarten -
Ms. Heather is our Private Kindergarten Teacher. She also teaches the Kindergarten Enrichment Program as well. Ms. Heather has her teaching certificate and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Tusculum University. Ms. Heather joined the Goddard Family in May 2009. Her warmth and enthusiasm for learning make her a terrific addition to the Goddard faculty.
Faculty Resource Teachers -
Ms. Nadia has taught in many positions at our School, but is currently a Resource Teacher. She loves helping in every classroom. She has a Master's degree in Education from the University of Punjab in Pakistan. Ms. Nadia came to The Goddard School in August of 2000. She has attended Goddard University classes including Curriculum and Lesson Planning. She is trained in First Aid, CPR, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse.
Ms. Theresa has also taught many positions at the school, most recently as a Infant Teacher. After working many school years as a Pre-K Teacher, she is excited about the chance to influence all of our students. She joined The Goddard School in March 2004. She is working toward a Childhood Development Associate (CDA) certification and has completed several Goddard University classes including, Curriculum and Lesson Planning. She is certified in First Aid, CPR, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse.
