Choosing Childcare

Hello and Welcome to The Goddard School® located in Anderson Township, across the drive from the Anderson Post Office. The Goddard School can make a positive difference in your child’s life. Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year round program from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our programs offer your family the choice of either a half or full-day schedule, each designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks to six years of age. We also provide before & after school enrichment, a private kindergarten and a summer “camp” program for children up to eight years of age. Transportation to and from Ayer, Sherwood, Wilson and Summit Elementary Schools is available.

As parents of children that attend The Goddard School ourselves, we recognize the importance of knowing the specifics of your child’s day. Everything that takes place is specifically communicated to you via personalized Daily Activity Reports. The Daily Activity Report allows you to understand the activities your child participates in so that you can discuss the day with your child. The reports reflect everything from what the children ate for lunch to what goal they strived for or accomplished during the day. All children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities to help them develop a feeling of independence and confidence.

Our lead teachers are degreed in Elementary or Early Childhood Education, or have a Childhood Development Associate (CDA) certification. Our faculty create a loving, nurturing atmosphere while incorporating fun and exciting learning experiences. Daily lesson plans are designed to meet the needs of the "whole" child, even as young as six weeks of age. A typical day includes academics, music, language activities, creative art and supervised outdoor gross motor activities.

We look forward to fostering a love of learning in each child by providing them with a safe and happy preschool environment. For more information, please call Amy Blankenship -Director, Rebekkah Bennett -Assistant Director, or Mark Reinhart -Owner (pictured here) to schedule a tour and allow us the opportunity to show you why we are the best early childhood development School in the area!
