Alpharetta I, GA

Beth, Infant Lead Teacher

Beth has been working with children in an educational setting since 2003 and has been with The Goddard School since 2011.  She is currently working on completing her CDA.  

Tatyana, Assistant Infant Teacher

Tatyana holds a technical degree in finance from the Ukraine. She began her career working with young children in an educational setting in 2000 and has been with The Goddard School since 2003. Tatyana believes that the key to providing the ultimate care to the children in her care is to give individual care and attention to each child's personal progress. She works daily to teach children with kindness, care and sensitivity.

Maria, Assistant Infant Teacher

Maria has five years of CEU credits and has been working with children in an educational setting since 2001 and with The Goddard School since 2006.  She is the proud mom of two boys.  

Coty, Assistant Teacher Coty has a Bachelor's of Science degree in childhood and family development from Georgia Southern University.  She has been working with children in an educational setting since 2007.  

Trina, Lead Teacher Trina has a TCC in early childhood education. She is currently pursuing a B.S. in early childhood education.  She has been working with children in an educational setting since 2003 and has been with Goddard since 2006.  Trina is the proud mom of three beautiful daughters.

Christina, Assistant Pre-Toddler Teacher

Christina holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. She began working in education and with The Goddard School since 2010. 

Juanita, Lead Teacher Juanita has a Bachelor's of Science degree in marketing and is currently working on her CDA.  She has been working with children in an educational setting since 2004 and has been with Goddard in the First Steps classroom since 2007.  Juanita is a mother of two grown children and a grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren.

Gina, Lead Teacher Gina has a Bachelor's of Science in engineering and a CDA.  Gina has been working with children in an educational setting since 2004. She has been with Goddard since 2005.

Alicia, Co-Lead Alicia has a Bachelor's of Science in child psychology and has been at Goddard since 2009.  She is the mother of a beautiful son.

Christen, Assistant Teacher Christen is currently enrolled at Georgia State University where she is working on a B.S. in early childhood education.  She has been working with children in an educational setting since 2002.

Madeline, Lead Teacher
Madeline holds an A.A. degree from Cuyahoga Community College and a B.S. in education from Kent State University.  Madeline also has additional hours towards her master's degree from Cleveland State and Ashland College. She has been working with children in an educational setting since 1968 and has been with Goddard since 2010.  She was selected Teacher of the Year in 1994.

Debra, Lead Teacher Debbie has a CDA from Bright from the Start and has been working with chidren in an educational setting for 12 years.  She is originally from Norwood, NJ and has lived in Georgia since 2003. Debbie is married and has a daughter.  

Kimberly, Lead Teacher
Kim has a B.S.E. in early childhood education from Georgia State University and an A.S. in engineering from Young Harris College.  She has been working with children in an educational setting since 2003 and has been with Goddard since 2010. 

Alisha, Teacher
Alisha has a B.S. in early childhood education from Albany State University.  She has been working with children in an educational setting since 2004 and has been with Goddard since 2010.  Alisha is excited about pursuing her master's in education in 2012.

Kate, Lead Private Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Kate has a bachelor's degree in education from Eastern Kentucky University and has a Gerogia State teaching certificate.  She has been working with children in an educational setting since 1994 and has been at The Goddard School since 2010.  Kate is the mother of four beautiful children.  

Stephanie, Private Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Stephanie has a TCC in early childhood education and is currently pursuing an Associate's of Art in early childhood education.  She has been working with children in an educational setting since 2001 and has been at The Goddard School since 2010.  Stephanie grew up in Hawaii.  She is an accomplished ballerina and teaches ballet to young children.  She owns her own dance company called Moore Dance.  She is very passionate about art and artistic expression.  Stephanie has completed murals and taught art programs to young children as well.

Sabrina, Lead Teacher, GA Pre-K Sabrina has a B.A. in psychology, an associate's degree in early childhood education and has a GA state teaching certificate for P-5.  She has been working with children in an educational setting since 2000.  She has taught GA Pre-K and private preschool for several years. Sabrina is married and has two beautiful children.

Amy, Georgia Pre-K Teacher

Amy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stephen's College.  She has been working with children in an educational setting since 1997 and has been at The Goddard School since 2011.  Amy is the proud mother of two beautiful girls.  She has taught Georgia Pre-K since 2005. 

Zelda, Nutrition

Zelda studied business administration at Alabama A&M in Huntsville, Alabama.  She has been working with children in an educational setting since 2006 and has taught at The Goddard School since 2009.  Zelda is married and has three beautiful children.  She moved from Dallas, TX to Atlanta, GA in 1990.

Bekki Davis, Education Director 

Bekki was born and raised here in Alpharetta, and she grew to realize working with the children was a great way to contribute to the community. Bekki has over 18 years' experience in early childhood education, both in administration and as a teacher.  She has been with The Goddard School since 2005. In 2002, Bekki went back to school to receive her bachelor's degree in early childhood education with a concentration in special education. She is currently attending The University of Cincinnati through a distance learning program. Since 2006, Bekki has been providing state-required teacher training and has been a CDA course instructor. Bekki is happily married to her college sweetheart and they live in Cumming, GA, where they are raising their two boys. 

Debbie Kohout, Operations Director

Debbie has lived in the Atlanta area for the past 10 years and  has taught elementary school for 17 years. She has been with The Goddard School since 2010. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. She loves children and music.  She has directed many children's choirs, chorus groups and adult church choirs. 

Gina, Administration Support and Get Set Lead Teacher

Gina has a bachelor's degree in engineering and an associate's degree in child development. She has been working with children in an educational setting since 2004, and joined The Goddard School that year.

Mr. Tom Barone, Owner

Since November 2005, I have been the owner of The Goddard School®. I am the proud father of Joey and Jack who both attended this school. Our relationship with Goddard began in 2002 when I moved to Alpharetta and Joey began attending the school at 18 months in 2002. Jack began at 12 months in 2003.
I began my career with IBM and have also worked for several smaller companies where I have held senior executive-level positions. I have coached and officiated youth sports since college and continue to coach my boys' sports teams. I am actively involved in the classrooms and day-to-day operations of the School.  I look forward to meeting your family so please email or call to set up a time to visit.
