Miss Liz has a Bachelor’s degree in Consumer and Family Sciences from University of Akron. She lives with her husband and their son who is a student at The Goddard School.
Karis Guran - Assistant Director of Education
Miss Karis has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashland University. Miss Karis is currently continuing her education at Hiram College.
STARFISH INFANT CLASSROOM -
Miss Jen is the lead teacher in our Infant classroom. She has her Associate's degree in early childhood education and she loves children!
Miss Noelle is our assistant teacher in our Starfish room. Miss Noelle has been the proud recipient of our annual Teacher Of The Year Award twice!
SEAHORSE FIRST STEPS CLASSROOM -
Miss Lindsay is the lead teacher in our First Steps room. She received her Bachelor's degree in sociology from The University of Akron. She looks forward to watching and helping the children develop along with learning with the children each and every day!
Miss Kelly is the assistant teacher in the
Seahorse room! She received a degree at The University of Akron. Her two sons also attend The Goddard School!
SEA TURTLE TODDLER CLASSROOM - Miss Krystal is our lead teacher in our Toddler classroom. She attended The University of Akron for Family Development and minored in Child Development. She does the best job of implementing ASL, Yoga and Spanish into her classroom!
Miss Wendy is our assistant teacher in our Sea Turtle room. She has pursued her degree in Early Childhood Education at Lakeland Community College and North Hampton Community College. She is married and has two beautiful little girls who are both graduates of The Goddard School!
MANTA RAY GET SET CLASSROOM - Miss Shannon is our lead teacher in the Get Set classroom. She has a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from The University of Akron.
DOLPHIN PRESCHOOL CLASSROOM - Miss Jessica is the lead teacher in the Dolphin Preschool room. She is pursuing a degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Kent State University. Jessica is a wonderful, compassionate teacher who loves the children and lets them be free to be who they are!
SEAL PRESCHOOL CLASSROOM - Miss Donna is the lead teacher in our Seal Preschool room. She has been with us for almost four years! Donna is married and has two sons who are all grown up. Donna does such a great job coming up with creative ways to teach the children in her classroom!
MANATEE PRE-KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM - Miss Crystal is the lead teacher in the Pre-K room. She has an Associate's degree in early childhood education. She has been with The Goddard School for over four years and she looks forward to each day with the children. She helps each and every child achieve their goals/guidelines to prepare them for Kindergarten.
WHALE KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM - Mrs. Kylie Blodgett is the Kindergarten teacher for the 2011-2012 school year. Kylie is originally from Wales, England. She received her bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Kentucky Christian University. She is looking forward to teaching our Kindergartners this year; preparing them to move on into the world!
VARIOUS CLASSROOMS - Miss Theresa is a floater here at The Goddard School. She assists in all of the classrooms, mainly the Infant and First Steps rooms. She is a wonderful addition to the school - she particularly enjoys telling the parents fun stories from the day at evening pick-up!
Miss Ashley is also a floater here at the school. Recently she has been helping the the Toddler and Get Set classrooms in the afternoons. She enjoys spending one-on-one time with all of the children reading books and playing outside!
Miss Megan is a summer addition to our school! She assists in all of the classrooms while she is on break from Xavier University studying early childhood education.
TEACHER OF THE YEAR - Miss Noelle has earned the honor of Teacher Of The Year for the 2010-2011 school year by being herself. She is the most caring and patient person. She works hard every day and loves each and every one of the babies for their individual qualities! Noelle is a reliable employee and works vary hard. She has a positive outlook and calm composure that is passed on to the children and teachers of the school. Here at The Goddard School, we have the highest respect and admiration for her. Please help us congratulate Miss Noelle for her well deserved title as Teacher Of The Year!
