Communication: Family Communication

Stay on top of your child's care and learning through our frequent, open communication.

You can count on daily communications about your child's care, regular updates regarding our educational programs and anytime access to our faculty.

Our School's Owners, Directors and teachers are available to you every day. And at the end of each day, you'll know about your child's activities, progress and memorable moments that you may want to reinforce at home. Here are the many communications we deliver:

  • Daily Activity Reports: Your child's teacher provides curriculum highlights, your child's care notes and a 'Memorable Moment.'
  • Your School's Newsletters: We regularly distribute insights about the classroom, calendar of events and Home-School Association information (see below).
  • Home-School Associations: Connect with other parents and support your child's teachers. Become a member or volunteer.
  • GSI Parent Support: Ask about The Goddard Parent e-newsletter, Goddard Parent Guide® Cards; Goddard Parent Guide DVDs, and The Parenting With Pruett series by child care expert Dr. Pruett. Follow us on Facebook, too!
  • Family/Teacher Conferences: Twice a year, teachers share your child's portfolio of art projects, writing samples and Progress Reports.
  • Open Houses provide special opportunities for families to participate together in games and activities.
  • Open Door Policy: Stop in anytime. We seek your input and suggestions regarding your child's care and our School's activities.
  • Community Service: In the spirit of commitment to family and community, our faculty participates in local sponsorships and charitable 'Good Deeds'... helping your child understand the significance of service to others.
