Goddard Schools provide a unique advantage to their teachers - professional development through Goddard Systems University (GSU).

GSU supports the on-going training of Goddard teachers by providing regional classes on a quarterly basis as well as on-site training by Corporate Representatives. GSU training has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
  • GSU includes an exclusive training series developed specifically for Goddard School teachers. This unique program coaches teachers in the areas of health and safety, curriculum, developmental guidelines and curriculum resources.
  • GSU awards Training Hours which may be applied to a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification. CDA is a nationally recognized credential and is awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition.
  • GSU encourages teachers to share their ideas, express their viewpoints and develop relationships with their peers throughout the Goddard organization.
  • GSU trains teachers to develop nurturing learning environments.
  • GSU informs teachers about child development trends and current research.
