Hello! Thank you for visiting the site of The Goddard School® located in Forked River, New Jersey! We can't wait to show you the wonderful programs we offer at our School. We look forward to meeting you and your family and showing you our beautiful School.

My name is Toni Ann Eckerson and along with my father, Gary Schliessman, we are the very proud owners of the School. We know our dedicated and qualified faculty and Director will amaze you with their knowledge of childhood education. We are pleased with their teaching methods and the way they nurture our students through a series of positive learning experiences.

The Goddard School® can make a positive difference in your child's life. Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year round extended day program from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks to six years of age. We also offer after-school enrichment and a summer program for children up to eight years of age.

Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our faculty brings to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities. We chart each child's development in their individual portfolio, which are an accumulation of each child's skills throughout the school year.

Our state-of-the-art custom designed building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Our appreciation for excellence is seen through our Quality Assurance(QA) program. Goddard QA Representatives make two or more unannounced visits per year to ensure that our School follows and meets the Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, as well as Curriculum and Program performance standards Goddard takes pride in achieving. We also have two separate playgrounds that were designed to challenge and delight your child at every age.
