*****WALK FOR LIFE AND BREATH*****
Can you believe the # 1 cause of children being absent from school from a chronic illness in America is asthma. Its true, and we have quite a few children with lung related illnesses and allergies in our School. On May 17, 2008, we will partner with the American Lung Association in a "Walk for Life and Breath" fundraiser Starting at our School, we'll walk to the Forked River Elementary School to raise money to find a cure for children with asthma and other lung diseases. All donations raised will go directly to research to find a cure. Please help us by becoming a Team Captain, Walker, sponsoring a walker or donating money towards this cause. We will also sell plush stuffed animals for a minimum donation of $5.00. These will make a great gifts! If you would like to register you can contact us or the PTO. You can also register on line at www.lunginfo.org/walks; click on NJ. The day of the "Walk for Life and Breath" you can enjoy plenty of fun entertainment and music including the former Miss NJ USA, cartoon characters, clowns, balloon twisting as well as food and refreshments. The radio station, the Point at 94.3, will attend to entertain everyone. Information regarding lung related illnesses will also be available. Thanks for contributing to this worthy cause.

Congratulations to our faculty for being chosen as the featured article in the Asbury Park Press entitled "How to Choose a Childcare Center"- great job!!!
Goddard parents who can use a little pick me up in the morning or on the way home can take our coupon next door to Marie's Bakery and enjoy a FREE cup of delicious hot coffee or tea - every day! P.S. Their croissants are very yummy, too!!!
Remember, PTO meetings are held the second Thursday of every month!! The PTO does wonderful things for the School and is always available to lend a helpful hand at our events! Thank you to the PTO for purchasing our new Cricket Cutting System! Also thank you to everyone who has been helping us plan The Walk for Life and Breath! All your help is appreciated!
We want every child to always feel special, so we celebrate everyone's birthday and provide each child with a special birthday gift!
Referral Program - refer a family to our School, and after they begin, you will receive up to $100.00 in tuition credit, to be used at anytime. The more you refer the more you receive including gift cards to dinner and a weekend getaway!
