Miss Wendy Lead Teacher
Hello my name is Wendy and I have been teaching in the Infant Room since March 2007. I was born and raised in South Africa. I moved to the United States in 2000 and I lived in Chicago where I was an au pair. I met my husband while I was on vacation in Marblehead, Ohio, and now we have two beautiful daughters. Hello my name is Liz and I have been one of the teachers in the Infant Room since The Goddard School® opened in November 2005. I am married and have two daughers. I studied Art at Kent State University. I substitute taught in the Massillon City Schools and was the director of Whipple Heights Pre-School. I enjoy cake decorating and have a pet turtle named Flower and a guinea pig named Taz. My favorite children’s book is The Foot Book, by Dr. Seuss. Miss Kimberly Assistant Teacher
Hello my name is Miss Kimberly and I am one of the teachers in the Infant Room. I have been working at The Goddard School® since January 2007. I studied Early Childhood Education and received an Associate's degree from Kent State University.I am engaged and have two fantastic children. My favorite pastimes are caring for my animals, cooking, gardening, horseback riding and reading. My favorite children’s book is Beauty and the Beast. Miss Noelle Assistant Teacher Hello my name is Noelle and I have been working in the since October 2007. I have worked in the Toddler Room and the Infant Room. I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. I attended St. Vincent-St. Mary High School and Kent State University. I love to sing and dance. I hope to one day become a nurse. My favorite children’s book is Cinderella.

Sea Turtle Classroom - Miss Catie Lead Teacher
Hello my name is Catie and I teach in the Toddler classroom. I joined The Goddard School® family in September 2007. I graduated from Mount Union College in 2002 with a degree in Middle Childhood Education. I love the Pittsburgh Steelers! I enjoy spending time with my friends and brothers. My favorite children’s book is Goodnight Moon, by Margaret Wise Brown. Miss Danielle Lead Teacher Hello my name is Danielle and I am one of the teachers in the Sea Turtle Room. I joined The Goddard School® team in September 2007. I am the oldest of five children. I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. A few things that I love include warm weather, road trips, spending time with friends and family and my grandma’s Italian cooking! My favorite bedtime story growing up was by Margaret Wise Brown.

Mrs. Leitch Lead Teacher
Hello my name is Mrs. Leitch and I am the Kindergarten teacher. I live in the area with my husbacnd and two daughters. I love to spend time with my family and swim in the family pool. We like to travel to Scotland to visit family when we have time. I have taught Kindergarten for eighteen years. My favorite children’s book is Shhh, by Sally Grindley.

Miss Amanda Lead Teacher
My name is Amanda. I work in the First Steps Room. I have been with The Goddard School® since we opened in 2005. I took classes at The University of Akron in Early Childhood Development. I love to come to work every day and see the children. It lights up my heart when they run to me! My favorite children’s book is Where The Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak.
Miss Tiffany Lead TeacherHello my name is Miss Tiffany and I have been one of the teachers in the First Steps Room since May 2007. I graduated from the University of Akron in August 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and a minor in Family Development. I love to dance and have been doing so competitively since the age of two. My favorite sports team is the Buckeyes, although I will always be a Dallas fan since I was born and raised there. I have lived and traveled to many places around the world, but I am content living in Ohio and teaching here at The Goddard School® . My favorite children’s book is Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg.

Whale Classroom -
Miss Karis Lead Teacher
My name is Miss Karis and I teach Preschool II in the Whale Room. I’ve been at The Goddard School® since April of 2007. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashland University and hold a current teaching license for the state of Ohio. I have been working with children all my life, but it has been my profession for six years. Something happens that brings a smile to my face every day when I work with children. I absolutely love it! My favorite children’s book is Love You Forever, by Robert Munsch.
Miss Karen Lead Teacher
Hello my name is Miss Karen and I teach in the Preschool II classroom. I have been at Goddard since April 2007. I currently live in the area with my husband and our cat, Stoli. I have a Pre-Kindergarten degree from Youngstown State University and have been teaching for six years. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and love to cook! My favorite children’s book is Guess How Much I Love You, by Sam McBratney.

Miss Karen The Goddard School Owner
Hello my name is Karen and I am the owner of The Goddard School® . I received my Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Akron and my Master’s of Education from Malone College. Before opening The Goddard School® I taught Elementary school for ten years. I am happily married to my husband Marty and we have two beautiful children who attend The Goddard School®. My favorite children’s book is Oh! The Places You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss. When I can find spare time, I love to go on vacation and enjoy warm weather!
Miss Katie Educational Director
Hi I’m Katie. I am the Educational Director at The Goddard School® . I have been here since we opened in November 2005. I have my undergraduate degree from Malone College in Middle Childhood Education and my Master’s degree in Education from Ashland University. My teaching experiences vary from preschool all the way through high school. I live in the area with my husband Dan, our son and our two dogs. My favorite children’s book is The Rainbow Fish, by Marcus Pfister. Even though I’m no longer a teacher in a classroom, I still make it a point to interact with the children on a daily basis!
Miss Liz Assistant Educational Director
Hello my name is Liz and I am the Assistant Educational Director at The Goddard School®. I have been with Goddard since we opened in November 2005. I have a degree in Family and Consumer Science Education and am planning on pursuing my Master’s degree. My favorite children’s book is January’s Child, by Andrea Gosling.

Miss Donna Lead Teacher
Hello my name is Donna S. and I teach Preschool I. I have been teaching in the Manta Ray Room since August 2007. I have lived in Norton for about twenty years. I grew up in southern Ohio where both of my parents were teachers. I attended Ohio University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development. I also met my husband while attending OU. While my husband finished his degree, I worked for the Athens County Juvenile Court. I have also been a preschool teacher and a substitute teacher for the Norton School District. I love children’s books, especially, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, by Judi Barrett.

Miss Krystal Lead Teacher
Hello my name is Krystal and I teach the Get Set class in the Dolphin Room. I began working at The Goddard School® in January 2007 in the Toddler Room. I have my degree in Child and Family Development from The University of Akron. I have been a babysitter and I've worked in my church nursery. I live in the area with my cat, Sassy. My favorite children’s book is Love You Forever, by Robert Munsch. I love watching sports and being with family and friends.
Miss Kathy Assistant Teacher Hello my name is Kathy and I have been teaching in the Dolphin Room since August 2007. I am married and we have a daughter. I was a personal nanny for three and a half years and I've also worked as a summer camp counselor for the YMCA before coming to The Goddard School® . My favorite children’s book is If You Give A Pig A Pancake, by Laura Numeroff.
Miss Taisha Assistant Teacher Hello my name Miss Taisha and I work in the Preschool 1 classroom. I began working at The Goddard School® in November 2007. I live in the area with my husband and daughter. I have worked with children for the past seven years. I am currently pursuing a degree in Child Psychology. My hobbies include reading, watching movies and conditioning for the Air Force. My favorite children’s book is any Berenstain Bears book by Stan and Jan Berenstain.

Miss Kelli Assistant Teacher My name is Miss Kelli and I have been an assistant teacher here at The Goddard School® since December 2006. I am currently attending the University of Akron pursuing my Master’s and Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology. I enjoy movies, shopping and rock climbing in my spare time. My favorite children’s book is Green Eggs and Ham, by Dr. Seuss.

Miss Kristi Assistant Teacher Hello my name is Kristi and I am an assistant teacher here at The Goddard School® . I am currently in my third year at The University of Akron majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences. I live in the area with my cat named Frankie. My favorite children’s book is Stellaluna, by Janell Cannon. Miss Krissy Assistant Teacher Hello my name is Miss Krissy and I have been an assistant teacher in all of the classrooms here at The Goddard School® since January 2007. I am currently attending The University of Akron majoring in Middle School Education. I love spending time with my family and boyfriend. When I have time I enjoy watching Cleveland sports, reading, watching movies and eating ice cream! My favorite children’s book is Jumping Jackie.

Miss Amanda Lead Teacher
My name is Amanda and I am the Pre-Kindergarten teacher. I have been at The Goddard School® since Fall 2008. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Child Development from The University of Akron in 2006. One of my favorite hobbies is reading and I absolutely love cats, especially my cat, Lily! My favorite children’s book is Miss Suzy, by Miriam Young. I love working here at The Goddard School® because I like see the children faces light up when they learn something new!

Hello my name is Miss Crystal and I am the Assistant Teacher in Pre-Kindergarten. I have worked at The Goddard School® since October 2006. I live in the area with my husband and our pets. I love working with children because there is nothing like watching one of your students write their name for the first time and knowing you were a part of that.
