Welcome to The Goddard School® located in Akron! We are thrilled to be part of the Fairlawn and Bath communities, and look forward to providing educational enrichment for your child. The Goddard School is a developmentally appropriate preschool for children from six weeks to six years of age. You can customize your program in a variety of ways from as few as two half days to five full days. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with our half-day schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Goddard School can make a positive difference in your child's life. Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child. Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our university degreed teachers bring to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.

In addition to our preschool programs, we have a summer program that is packed with weekly on-site 'field trips.' We offer a Kindergarten Enrichment program that works in conjunction with your child's public school program and schedule. We also provide a Before- and After-School program for children through ten years of age. This program provides the help grade school children need with school work as well as outside play time, computer time and other games and activities to stimulate and energize the school-age child.

Our state-of-the-art custom designed building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Two separate playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age.
